Hey, I'm Marci. 👋

I'm a passionate software engineer with great emphasis on quality and performance.

I see myself as a genuine full-stack developer, well-versed in a broad range of skills from front-end development all the way to embedded.

I went to university both in Hungary and the Netherlands. Now I'm based in Budapest.

You can find me on LinkedIn, GitHub also you can get in touch via email.

Experience

Parkl

(2024)

I served as a consultant, guiding the complete redesign and optimization of their parking and electric vehicle charging IoT systems — from the hardware level to system monitoring and management.

Katt

(2023 - Ongoing)

This is a passion project that is currently in it's initial stage, drawing upon the expertise I've accumulated during my years of experience in the parking industry.

NISZ

(2021 - 2022)

Initially conceived as a straightforward visualization project, it evolved into something more substantial.

The most noteworthy achievement in the project was discovering an efficient way to count and sum the sizes of a thousand terabytes of small files. We were able to reduce the processing time from 2 days with standard Unix tools to just 4 hours with my solution.

Rollet

(2021 - 2024)

I re-engaged with the project once more, but this time in the capacity of a contractor.

During this period, my focus was solely on IoT, embedded and all it's related components and aspects.

We were in the process of creating new products, including a comprehensive ticket kiosk system.

Monizor

(2020 - 2021)

Together with a colleague from Rollet, we started to develop a sensor platform.

Our primary focus was on agricultural monitoring, which required us to design sensors that could operate on solar energy and transmit data to a central unit from distances spanning hundreds of meters.

Through the use of periodic deep sleep cycles and LoRa technology, we achieved our goal successfully.

Rollet

(2018 - 2020)

When I joined Rollet as a full-stack developer, the company was still in it's early stages as a startup.

Over the course of my time there, I handled a wide array of development tasks, spanning from user interface system design to developing IoT components. Later my main area of concentration shifted to IoT development and monitoring.

Ulyssys

(2015 - 2017)

I was responsible for the development of the company's internal HR system, which served as my initial job in the field.

It proved to be a valuable experience as I primarily worked autonomously on the technical aspects while also contributing to the product development.
